Founded in 2004 and celebrating 17 years, BDi has established itself as a Grammy award winning independent music publishing business representing songwriters, composers and TV production companies with deals tailor-made for individual creative talent. We develop and nurture songwriters across a range of disciplines and genres, negotiating tirelessly on their behalf as well as searching for the best commercial opportunities for our catalogues.

BDi has won many awards; a Grammy award in 2016; two Ivor Novello Awards; three RTS Awards; a Bafta and two ASCAP Award since inception. In 2016, BDi songwriter Amy Wadge was honoured with the Grammy Award for Song Of The Year for Ed Sheeran's global hit, 'Thinking Out Loud' now sitting at 3.8 million certified unit sales in the UK alone. We're also proud to be co-publisher of Ed Sheeran’s triple platinum No.1 album, +, produced and co-written by Jake Gosling with top 10 singles 'Lego House', 'Drunk' and 'Give Me Love'. BDi was similarly involved in the success of follow-up LP, X, with No.1 single 'Thinking Out Loud' featuring as the main single, Gosling produced seven tracks on the deluxe version of X and Wadge has two co-writes. Wadge also co-wrote 5 songs on Ed Sheeran’s 3rd No.1 album, Divide which to-date has sold over 6.1 million certified unit sales in the UK alone. BDi Music is administered by Bucks Music Group on a Worldwide basis.
