Fonico LLC, Tompkins Farm, Auspitz and HaLevi join the independent publishing collective

Four new US-based publishers have joined IMPEL – Fonico, LLC, Tompkins Farm Music and James Auspitz’s Auspitz and HaLevi Music.
Owned by Herman Rodriguez-Bajandas, Fonico, LLC administers and represents the music publishing and artist services companies of a significant number of iconic Latin music artist/composers.
Among these artists are Willie Colon, Johnny Pacheco, Tito Rodriguez, Ray Barretto, Bobby Valentin, Larry Harlow, Papo Lucca, Cheo Feliciano, Richie Ray & Bobby Cruz and others.
The catalogue also contains recognizable works in salsa, big band mambo, merengue, ballads, rock en español, Christian, and children’s genres.
Tompkins Farm Music is a boutique US start-up owned by Jeff Aber – a veteran record executive, personal manager and entertainment attorney. TFM has a global mindset and is focused on providing worldwide administration and placements of music in film, television and advertising. Its catalog is diverse and includes composers from the 1950s to the present. At the forefront of the TFM catalog are works by Emmy Award winning musician, singer, songwriter, vocal arranger and conductor Ray Charles Offenberg, who was best known as the leader of the Ray Charles Singers who were featured on Perry Como’s records and television shows for 35 years.
Auspitz Music and HaLevi Music are the companies of James Auspitz, who has enjoyed platinum success as a publisher with the hit songs I’ll Always Love You (a Grammy winner) and Just To See Her, which was the last Smokey Robinson chart topper. Auspitz is also a songwriter (including George Benson’s contemporary jazz hit, Love Of My Life) and a pioneer of putting comedy to music. He runs the label, Highpoint Records, Inc.
