Budde Music UK Ltd. was founded in 2010 as the British arm of German independent music publisher Budde Music (at that time Rolf Budde Musikverlag). With its focus on synch and A&R and its international network, Budde Music UK quickly developed into a sought-after boutique music publishing company attracting a diverse range of artists and writers from the UK and Europe:  

Ten Fé, Fay Wildhagen, Dee Adam, Raphi, Nick Bradley, Charlotte OC, Conor Byrne, Hollie Cook, Jafaris to name only a few.  

Budde Music UK is also a trusted sub-publisher to many international catalogues like Opus Music (Live is life), Tapete Music, Angry Mob, Azul Music, Folklore Productions and Elements Music.  

In 2020 the UK team joined forces with Phrased Differently, one of the UK’s biggest independent music publishers, when Budde Music started a JV with the successful entity making it a part of the Budde Group as its UK operating company. 

Budde Music was founded 1947 in Berlin and is now one of the biggest music publishers in Europe with classic songs like “Summer Wind” and “Forever Young” to recent hits like “Kings & Queens” or “What’s Poppin’”. With its headquarter in Berlin and London based Budde Music UK, Budde Music also runs their own offices in Paris and Warsaw.
